A meeting of the directors of lhe Otaihape Farmers' Meat and Pioduee Company, was held in the office ci the Ccnipany yesterday when the plans and specifications of contact were inspected and discussed. Tenders lor the dwellings and engineer's house are to be called for locally in cider to give contractors in this district an opportunity to tender lor these. The tenders tor the main works which should have been in for this meeting will not now be in hand till the 10th February, as the time was extended to allcw cf more contractors tendering. An urgent appeal is to be made to all shareholders who have net yet paid up their first payments, and it is expected that the Company will be in a position to deal with the tenders by the iime they are due in. .We understand that capital to Hie extent of £-30,000 has now been formal. ly applied for while shares to the value of ever (£7OOO have bean promised in addition. .
