the .1 TRY’S FINDING. NAPIER. Jan. 27. A Magisterial inquiry, lasting two days, into the circumstances attending the destruction by fire of a fancy goods store and drinks shops, run by Richard RJdale, was concluded in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. The verdict found (1). There was no evidence tendered from which it could be reasonably inferred that. Slthdr Mbs and Miss Ridsdale intentionally caused the fire. 1(2) That the insurance on stock and I fittings of £BSO greatly exceeded its ! value at the time of the fire. (3) I That the stock and fittings, insured | for five years previously, were never | reinspected or revalued cm behalf of I 'hc insurance companies.
