Jan. 5. The Germans shot thirty of the Laudstrum in the' public, square at Steinbach, because of their irresolution. A f ter evacuating Steinbach ths Gor•rrns through throwing incendiary bombs had to abandon their first line of trenches which were ablaze, owing to the wind driving the flames back on them.
