Zealand hinds 6\d, fores 5 Chilled: Moderate supply. Hinds 6 7-Bd, fores sid. Butter market firm. Good demand. Danish quiet, 150/ to 154/, New Zealand, good demand, 136/ to 138/. Unsalted 138/ to 140/; Australian 134/ to 136/, unsalted 136/ to 138/; Siberian, firm' 128/ to 132/; Argentine 134/ to 136/. Cheejs«|: Market firm.. Canadian rather quiet, 78/1 to 79/1; New Zealand white and coloured, fairly steady, 75/ to 76/, exceptional 78/. Hemp: Manila, market firm, the demand being only moderate. The Philli. pine market is rather unsettled on account of the new grading law. The output from Manila for week was 19,000 bales. The New Zealand market is quiet, but steady, spot quotations nominally are: Good fair grade £26 10/ per ton, fair £24 10/. The January and March shipment fair current Manila, new graded, £26 to £26 10/, good fair £24 10/. High points £23 10/, fair £22 15/. Sisal quotations are misleading, but have heard of offer "of fair average quality f.0.b., New York, as low as £l9 10/ per ton. It is at present impossible t osecure freight to Europe. Wool market: For Merinos is rather steadier, and unchanged for crosshrerls
