THE CLYDESDALE HORSE SOCIETY.

(INCORPORATED.) A meeting of the General Purposes Committee of the Council of the Clydesdale Horse Society was held on the evening of Wednesday, the 25th Dec., Hon. Treasurer, J. A. Copland, South ’lr - ani; David Sheddan, Toiro; IT. H. 1 Clarke, Bahlutha; Geo. Tosh, Bal- 1 clutha North; John Mosley, lucbvin that; Alex. M. Macdonald, Carterh am, i Warepa; Peter Dow, Brunlslmld, Al- i lanton. Applications for the Prefixes wore considered and granted as follows: “St. Leonards” to Mr Donald McCallum; St. Leonards, Blenheim; “Dimkeld Station” to Mr Robt. Wood, Dunkeld Station, Beaumont; “ Panehakua” to Mr W. G. Park, Panehakua, Hairini P. 0., Waikato. Accounts totalling £l6-1 15/8 were passed for payment.
