RIALTO, NEWMARKET

TWO SPLENDID FILMS Rudy Vallee’s first great feature picture, "The Vagabond Lover,” introduces tho wonderful American singer of radio to New Zealand at the Rialto Theatre. Crooning four delightful new songs, Valeo makes his bow in a lavish production created by Radio Pictures under the direction of Marshal Neilan. With him are the Connecticut Yankees, the seven boys as familiar to radio audiences as Rudy himself. A second big feature is being shown in the comedy attraction, "Why Bring That Up?” a talking film made by the two famous gramophone comedians, Moran and Mack, known as the Two Black Crows. "Why Bring That Up” is a comedy of stage life, as full of jokes and sly digs as the Black Crows can make it. There are also two or three talkie featurettes.
