TIVOLI

‘RIO RITA” Produced on a magnificent scale, "Rio Rita,” at the Tivoli Theatre, is a distinct triumph for the audible screen. Besides tho excellent work of the principals, the wonderful choruses, the clever dances and ballets, and the magnificent scenes contribute to the success of the production. The scenery throughout is gorgeous, especially the scenes on the general’s barge, where colour photography adds considerably to tho effect. Miss Bebe Daniels makes her debut in tho talking picture world as Rio Rita, revealing altogether unthought-of talent. John Boles, tho well-known tenor, is excellent as Captain Jim Stewart, of tho Texas Rangers. His acting is good, and his singing is fine. Miss Daniels and ho render several duets with considerable effect.
