DELEGATES TO CONFERENCE WILL BE FETED * ROYAL BANQUET’ Reed. 9.55 a.m. LONDON, Thurs. Already dozens of public functions have been arranged in honour of the Imperial Conference delegates, beginning with a State dinner at Lancaster House on September 29. The King and Queen have fixed an Empire banquet to the Premiers at Buckingham Palace on October 3. Preparations are well advanced for the Imperial Conference which begins on September 30. The Dominion delegations will begin to arrive within a few days. They will be accommodated in various large hotels, and a fleet of cars will be placed at their disposal during the conferf nee. FREEDOM OF LONDON Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. The London Corporation is to present the Freedom of the City to the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. J. H. Scuilin, and the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. R. B.
