ATTRACTS OLDER MEN
j Dear Miss Rutledge,— When I was 17 I fell madly in love with a man five years my senior. All j was well for 18 months when we had our first quarrel. After that things were not the same again. I was not sure of his love, and he was always insinuating that I preferred the company of other men. We had several such quarrels, and they were always patched up, but things became so bad that we decided to part before it was too late. Since then, my friend has ' met a very nice girl with whom he in- ! forms me he is in love. But, I, alas, | after meeting many men who have j made love to me, find that, although j they are more attractive than he, they l have many faults, and lack the un- ; known quality that so endeared this I first lover to me. I now have the I chance to marry a man nine years my ! senior, whom I like and respect, but
do not love. This man humours me » stead of being firm when I am or blue. I think I need tomeoae ! bold me; someone with a strong ch acter who will not allow m „ V ,&r ' all my own way.
