THIEF VISITS HOUSE IN DEVONPORT LOOT VALUED AT £2O Jewellery, valued at £2O, was removed from a house occupied by Mr. W. C. Clarke, 2 Albert Koad, Uevonport, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. yesterday. Jemmy marks on the outside of the bathroom window showed how an entry had been gained, but it was not known that there had been an uninvited guest of the premises until Mr. Clarke noticed signs of liis work while having a bath before retiring. ! One or two other small articles, in ad- , dition to the jewellery, w-ere also 1 taken from the house.
