SMASHED A PANEL

LABOURER FINED For being found drunk in Cook Street last evening, and wilfully damaging a doro panel, valued at 22s 6d, George Warren, a labourer, aged 23, was fined ss, or 24 hours, on the first charge, and convicted and ordered to pay 22s 6d damages and 10s witnesses’ expenses on the second charge, when he appeared at the Police Court today. Sub-Inspector Shanahan said Warren had knocked at the door of Euan Fong Wong’s premises in Grey’s Avenue at 5.45 p.m. last evening. When Wong was on his way to the door, Warren put his hand through the panel and decamped.
