BRIDE IN PINK
TWO ATTENDANTS CHOOSE PALE PRIMROSE HAMMOND— DE SUZA j On Saturday afternoon the marriage | was celebrated at the Dominion Road j Methodist Church of Edna Mary, eldest | daughter of Mr. and Mrs. TV. J. E>e Suza. of Dominion Road, to David Stephen, only son of Mrs. and the late . Mr. Hammond, of Mount Kden. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. TV. Rowe, and Mr. Evans presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away j by her father, wore a gown of pale pink lucresia and lace. Her veil, f which formed a train, was of pale pink embroidered net, and was held in place with a circlet of I orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. Miss Evelyn De Suza. sister of the \ bride, and Miss Xellie Hammond, sister ' of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids, ; frocked alike in primrose lucresia with j close-fitting bodices and full skirts j which dipped to the ankles. They j j wore tulle caps and carried bouquets j ;of lemon hyacinths and daffodils, j I Dorothy and Zita Do Suza. sisters of ! the bride, were in attendance, as flower i girls, wearing frock-s of blue crepe de j chine and they carried posies of hya- : cinths and primroses. The duties of best man were carried j out by Mr. Andrew Hammond, and Mr. j Gilmour was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, where , Mrs. De Suza received her guests j wearing a f-rock of beige soie de chine ! with a hat to tone. She carried a posy of violets and daphne. Mrs. Hammond. mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of blue crepe fleuri, under a i bengalin© coat, and a hat to match. She carried a posy of violets and daphne.
