LEG CAUGHT IN LIFT

ACCIDENT IN CITY The left leg of Mr. George Shaw, of Panama Street, Grey Lj-do. was broken when if caught between the lift on which he was standing and a floor at the premises of G. McMillan aDd Co., in Customs Street, at 4.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Shaw is a married man, aged 57. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. The lift is hydraulically worked, and Is for the carriage of goods.
