MOUNT ALBERT BOWLING

Sixteen teams took part in an allday full-rink tourney held by the Mount Albert Bowling Club yesterday. Fine weather conditions prevailed and the greens were in good order. There were five rounds played and four teams tied with four wins and one loss each. These were:—Hardley (West End). E. Thomas (Mount Albert), Vincent (Edendale), Buxton (Carlton). The play-off resulted as follows: Hardley beat Thomas, Buxton beat Vincent. The final resulted in a win for Hardley, who defeated Buxton, 7 — 2.
