TILER REMANDED UNTIL 18TH

Charged with a serious offence against a girl, aged 3 5 years and six months, Harold Percival Hedges, a tiler, aged 31, who appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the. Police Court, today, was remanded to appear on September 18, bail of £2OO being renewed.

Chief Detective Hammond said ac-t-used. who was divorced, had not yet had his decree made absolute. "I suppose he will marry the girl," the chief detective.
