ORIGINAL “MADAMOISELLE” DIES IN FRANCE Reed. 9.5 a.m. PARIS, Sunday. Allegedly the original Mademoiselle from Armentleres, Mademoiselle Laure Millanquet was found dead at La Chapelle d’Armentieres. She was a beautiful young woman in 1914, and was the centre of attraction in the little village in which she was a refugee.
