CREAM SATIN IS COMBINED WITH PALEST PINK LACE

REMUERA WEDDING WOOLCOTT—IRWIN A charming mwn of cream satin beaute and shell pink lace was worn by Miss Veava Margaret Irwin, of Upland Road, Remuera, third daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. A. Irwin, of Bathurst New South Wales, for her marriage to Mr. Ernest William Stephen Woolcott, only son of Mr. and airs. W. Woolcott, of Wellington, at Somervell Church, Remuera. on Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Pattison. assisted by the'Rev. T. N. Cuttle. Mr. Joseph Blitz played the wedding music and during the ceremony the solo "Because” was sung bv Miss Hope Asher. Given away by Mr. G. Wansbone, the bride wore her frock fashioned with -wide panniers attached to a pointed waistline and edged with shell pink silk lace which fell in points just below- the hem. The corsage had long sleeves finished with cascade cuffs of pink lace and a small mediei laco collar. Her veil, which formed a long flowing train, was of shell pink georgette bordered with wide drapings of old honiton lace, and was arranged on the head w-ith a lace cap finished with wreath of orange blossom. Jghe carried an ivory-bound prayer book with long white satin ribbon bookmarkers finished with white silk tassels and embroidered with orange blossom. Miss Ida Platt attended the bride wearing a frock of lace in autumn shades over silk moire. She wore a small crinoline hat, which was turned back from the face and trimmed at the back with shaded nasturtiums. Her posy was of flowers to tone with her lrock.

The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Hori Patterson. A reception was held later at Strathspey, the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. A. Bell. In her absence Miss Rosser acted as hostess, wearing a frock of navy blue frilled crepe de chine with a navy hat to tone. She carried a posy of violets. Mrs. Woolcott was gowned in navv blue mn.rocain relieved with shell pink and a hat to match. She carried a posv of violets. Mrs. Worn. Wellington, 'wore a frock of biscuit crepe do chine and a ballibuntal hat to tone. Miss Celia Rosser had on a cedar rose ensemble under a marocatn coat, and a hat to match. Miss Edna Rosser was in naples blue georgette with a blue hat.
