WEDDING FROCK OF IVORY SATIN IS GRACEFULLY DRAPED

VEIL OF BRUSSELS NET STIRLING—INGLIS On Tuesday afternoon the marriage was celebrated of Florence Lillian, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Inglis, of Te Papapa, and Richard, sixth son of the late Dir. and Mrs. Stirling, of Paparoa. at the Pitt Street Methodist Church. The Rev. W. Walker performed the ceremony.

Given away by her father, the bride was gowned in ivory satin with a draped skirt, the cf which was lined with shell pink

georgette. A dainty veil of hand embroidered brussels net was ar

ranged on the head, with a juliet cap of sequined lace, ceught at each side with clusters of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of pale pink and white flowers.

Miss Betty Inglis and Miss Beatrice Stirling were bridesmaids, wearing frocks of midnight blue georgette and crepe de chine, with blue tulle headdresses edged with pink roses and silver leaves. Their bouquets were of pale pink flowers.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Geoffrey Royland as best man and Mr. Herbert Inglis as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, which was decorated with bowls of Iceland pox>pies and daffodils. To receive her guests, Mrs. Inglis wore, a gown of blue figured ninon with a blue bangkok hat and she carried a bouquet of pansies. Mrs. John, grandmother of the bride, wore a frock of black crepe de chine under a black corded silk coat and a black hat. She carried a posy of pansies. Mrs. "Wright, Whenuanui. sister of the bridegroom, was in a gown of blue satin beaute, with a blue hat and she carried a bouquet of autumn-shaded flowers.
