Kirk. new lynx branch [ Tlte monthly meeting of the New 1 Lynn Women's Institute was held on Monday, the president, Mrs. Howson being in the chair. Many important business items were dealt with in connection with the forthcoming council meeting ot the Auckland Provincial Federation of Women's Institutes. A very interesting demonstration

was given by Mrs. Davidson on the making of moccasins, both in felt, and leather. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Reich, Shortly, Culpitt and Simpson.
