PAPATOETOE PARTY
DANCING AND MUSIC The spacious rooms or the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Grinter, Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe, were prettily decorated with bowls of daffodils and Iceland poppies on Thursday evening, when a very enjoyable party was held. Dancing, games and competitions occupied tho interest of the many guests. An enjoyable programme of dance music was supplied by Mr. Hob Allanson, and vocal solos were contributed by Mr. Ted Harvie. Extras were played by Miss Fitness. Mrs. Grinter received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette and lace, and prettily embroidered shawl. She was assisted by her daughters Miss G. Grinter. who wore a frock ot georgette with sequined coatee, and Miss Dulcic Grinter, frocked in rose shaded georgette. Among those present were: Mrs. T. Grinter (Mount Roskill), who wore lichen green georgette; Mrs. it. llltbb, in sapphire blue crepe do chine; Mrs. Monaghan (Auckland), ivory tulle finished with large' hip bow; Miss Muriel,! Ale l.a. Ilian, p.-a li georgette with flora] coatee; .Miss Ilona Lipscomb, shell pink shaded tulle: Miss .Nora KUerington (Auckland), ashes of roses er.-p,- faille; Mias Nlta ' rimer (Auckland), blush rOM( silk net: Miss Kathleen Leonard, sedge sreen georgette with pale pink bridge eoai: -Miss Nam Leonard, forest green georgette: Miss Audrey Fitness, peon blue georgette; Mists Gweicla Fitness "ivhid pink georgette: Miss Nora Spelling. « leetrii blue ehenille georgette: Miss Ada Latte, liehen green georgette - ' Alii.!.
