TOURNEY AT WANGANUI AUCKLANDERS DOING WELL Press Association WANGANUI, Friday. Play in the New Zealand badminton championships was continued today. In the final of the men’s championship singles, Earle (Wanganui), will meet Rish worth (Auckland) tomorrow, and Miss J. Ramsay (Auckland) will meet Miss M. Waters (Auckland) in the final of the ladies’ championship singles. In the final of the men’s doubles, Austin and Meredith (Wanganui) will meet Earle (Wanganui) and Fossette (Wellington). The final of the ladies’ doubles will be between Miss El.ett and Miss Solomon (Auckland) and Mrs. Austin and Miss Wilson (Wanganui). The results of today’s games were: Men’s Singles.—First round: Earle beat Kissling, 15—9, 15—8; Austin beat Rogers. 15 —9. 15 —12. Second round: Ellett beat Colegrove, 15—6, 6 —15. 15—4; Meredith beat Hay-Campbell, 15—5, 12—15, 15—10; Robinson beat Rish worth, 15 —6, 13 —15, 15—6.
