MORE NOMINATIONS
TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS Further nominations of candidates for the Town Board elections to be held on September 17 are as follow: Glen Eden.—G. H. Ambler, T. Dennis. P. C. Dorn, F. S. Dane, W. E. Martin, A. W. F. Rosier, A. J. Routley and W. S. Shepherd. Seven vacancies. Huntly—William Charles Edgar George, William Henry Bailey, Thomas Hall, James Crabtree Harrison, Leslie Kosoof and Harold James Roy Sheeran. Mr. Harrison withdrew his nomination and the five members constituting the present board have been declared elected. Onerahi.—Only three nominations were received for the five seats. They were as follow:—E. L Whimp, IT. Wilkinson and A. Weir. All were retiring members. Mr. J. F. Holmes, an old member and for many years chairman, declined nomination. Tuakau.—O. A rrowsmith, G. N. Asher, S. H. Crawford, W. J. Deeblc, J. J. Dromfi'ool, H. W. Fielder, J. Fulton, L. K. MacGregor and W. J. Taylor. Seven vacancies. Messrs. Taylor, Arrow smith, Crawford. Deeble and Fulton are members of the retiring board. The members who are not. seeking re-election are Messrs. F. Woolley and G. Booth. YV aiuku.—Only five candidates were nominated for the seven vacancies. They are:—J. Andrew, W. G. Hamilton, J. j. A. James, J. Kelliber and O. Ridglev. Warkworth.—A. S. Carran, G. T. Civil, F. D. Hart, G. 11. Phillips, P. A. McDowell, L. A. Petherick, W. S. Warin. Five required. Mr. Alex. J. S. Warin. who has been a member for 21 years and chairman for 16 years, is not standing again.
