DECREASE OF 92 SHOWN AUCKLAND FIGURES HIGHER From Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The number of unemployed registered in New Zealand for the week ended last Monday decreased by 92 compared with the previous week, according to figures supplied by the Minister of L&bour, the Hon. S. G. Smith. The week’s total was 5,371. Details of the registrations at labour bureaux and post offices are as follow: With dependants: Auckland, 812; Wellington, 443; Christchurch, 632; Dunedin, 333; Invercargill, 87. Without dependants: Auckland,' 596; Wellington, 325; Christchurch, 407; Dunedin, 110; Invercargill, 71. The totals for the five centres (with the figures for the previous week in parentheses) are as follow:—Auckland, 1,408 (1,304); Wellington, 768 (910); Christchurch, 1,039 (994); Dunedin, 443 (470); Invercargill, 15S (178).
