COLLISION IN HAILSTORM
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED Front Our Oicn Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. A motor-cyclist, Mr. John Lewis, IS, who is supposed to have been temporarily blinded by a severe hailstorm yesterday afternoon, collided in Hinemoa Street, Rotorua, with a grocer’s truck driven by Mr. Ernest Beckett. Mr. Lewis was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition, suffering from concussion and abrasions. His condition showed improvement this morning. Mr. Beckett escaped injury.
