TWO BILLS PASSED Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. today. The Acting-Leader, the Hon R. Masters, informed the Hon. M. Fagan that steps were being taken to minimise the risks taken by men engaged in blasting operations on public works. The question of bringing Public Works employees under the Mining Act would be considered. The Chartered Associations’ Protection of Badges and Uniforms Bill and the Clutha River Board Empowering Bill were passed.
