NOMINATIONS CLOSE
TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS Nominations of candidates for election to the Manurewa, Henderson, and Ho wick Town Boards closed yesterday. Seven commissioners are required for each board. The elections will be held on Wednesday, September 17. Following are the nominations: Manurewa Town Board. —Messrs. F. 11. Barnard, L. Butterworth, R. C. Coss. W. C. Cox. J. A. Ellis, C. A. Fawcett. W. J. Ferguson, T. J. Fleming, C. H. Lupton, W. H. Watts. A. Woolley, J. Wliitton, and H. K. Wright. Henderson Town Board.—Messrs. A. TV*. Bussey, W. A. Corban. G. M. Erceg, A. Forson-Stewart, T. Garelja, B. Hart, .r. H. Lee, B. T. Murray, H. Norcross, P. G. Platt, and J. W. Tubberty. Howick Town Board.—Messrs. P. L. Armitage, G. Bell, H. H. Bushell, A. < herry, J. Crawford, J. PI. Edwards, PI. I*. Johnson, L. V. Mclnness, D. Strong, L. H. White, and J. C. Litten. Turua.—The seven vacancies were filled by the nomination of the sitting commissioners, Messrs. H. H. Allen, J. T. Davies, J. M. Mules, J. McConnell, F. Olsen, J. Schmidt and S. G. Williams. Putaruru.—Twelve nominations have been received for the seven seats oil the Putaruru Town Board. An election will be held on Wednesday, Septembr 17. The following are the nominations: A. E. Barr Brown. R A. Bent, H. K. McDermott. J. C. Tomlin, W. Yandle (sitting members), W. Fitzherbert, W. J.
