SERVICE IN THE EAST The offer of the British military authorities to officers of the New Zealand Staff Corps to serve with British units in the East, has been received at headquarters of the Northern Com- 1 mand in Auckland. It has been ref££j'ed to officers for their consideration and it is stated that as many as can reasonably do so will accept. It is understood that there are approximately .12 officers ofS the rank of fiiajoc and tinder, engaged in the j Northern Command.
