Cambridge Club's j Function Is Brilliantly Successful j MANY VISITORS ATTEND The first ball held by tlie Cambridge Polo Club on Tuesday evening was a very largely-attended function, dancers- thronging the Cambridge Hall. The hall was gaily decorated, and the supper-room was particularly beautiful. Masses of pink blossoms, in all shades, were most effectively arranged. Excellent music was played by Epi Shalloon’s Aleludy Boys Orchestra. The hall was crowded with dancers from the surrounding districts and a large number of visitors attended. The hostesses were: Airs. Mer.vyn Wells, whose attractive gown was of black and silver. Airs. Noel Peake, who wore black moire. Mrs. Nolan, in a frock of parchment lace. Mrs. Blennerhassett, wearing a frock of black lace. Souter. in a gown of black embossed georgette. Airs. C. Aleredith, whose phlox pink frock was of lace. Mrs. J. Fisher, in a gown of silver grey and black embossed georgette. Mrs. A. Fisher, wearing black georgette. Mrs. Crowther, In a rose embossed taffeta frock. Airs. W. Fisher, in a frock of black I Airs. Porritt, wearing black moire, j Mrs. Addle Brown, whose black geor- ! gette frock was embroidered in gold. SEVERAL DEBUTANTES Several debutantes camp out at the j ball. They were: Miss Min Peake, whose dainty j white flared frock was of geor- j gette; Miss J. Ambury, in a frock of ivory moire; Miss J. Ferguson, a charming frock of soft pink georgette; Miss G.
