ONEHUNGA PARTY
COMING-OF-AGE CELEBRATED At the home of- Air. and Mrs. E. F. Gargan, Albert Street, Onehunga, a delightfully gay party was given on Saturday evening in honour 'of the coming-of-age of their youngest son, Harold. The rooms were prettily decorated with vases of daffodils and violets, intermingled with festoons of maidenhair fern. The guests were entertained with dancing and novelty competitions. Airs. Gargan received the guests wearing a frock of navy blue crepe de chine, with wine-coloured trimmings. Aliss P. Gargan had on an ankle-length frock of maize taffeta and net. Among those present were: Airs. S. Allison, navy blue georgette and fawn trimmings; Airs. E. Gargan, jun., black satin beaute and silver flowers: Airs. B. Beswick, sen., black marocain with lace trimmings; Mrs. C. Beswick, black flowered silk; Airs. Filmer, powder blue figured charmaline; Airs. McGra.no, rose pink satin: Mrs. A. Slebert, gold lace ankle-length frock; Mrs. Taylor, navy blue crepe de chine with fawn trimmings; Airs. N. Whitmore, powder blue taffeta. Airs. T. S. Lipscombe, black georgette, lace trimmings; Miss G. Parfitt, salmon pink taffeta and silver lace; Aliss R. Couch, oriental lame and pink georgette; Aliss AT. Sentcli, powder bine georgette; Aliss Rene Elvey, red and white patterned georgette; Aliss Joyce TayJor, flowered georgette; Aliss E. Taylor, pink taffeta; Miss K. Couch, powder blue georgette and silver flowers; Miss B. AlcAlaster, blue flowered taffeta.
