FLOWER SHOW
GLEN EDEN SOCIETY The annual daffodil and flower show of the Glen Eden Horticultural Society was held on Tuesday in the Glen Eden Public Hall. A programme of songs and violin selections was presented during the evening. The Glen Eden Dramatic Club gave an amusing sketch. The following awards were made: Class 1.—48 varieties. Star of Glen Eden trophy: W. H. Shepherd (Glen Eden). 236 points, 1: W. Danby (Thames), 232 points, 2; H. Braithwaite (Auckland), h.c. Class 2.—Xational trophy. society medals* W.
