MOB THREATENS POLICE
EXTRAORDINARY SCENE IN COURTROOM WIFE-MURDER TRIAL Reed. 1.2 p.m. SYDNEY, Today. An extraordinary uproar and hysterical scenes followed the acquittal at the Central Criminal Court of Colin Ferney. after his third trial for wife murder. In the midst of the tumult, Crowp witnesses against Ferney were abruptly ordered from the scene. The police, who attempted to restrain the demonstrators, were offered violence, and in a shouting crowd Ferney was borne away.
