THIEVES GET £17,000
WINDOW WAS LEFT OPEN IN INTENSE HEAT ROBBERY IN ENGLAND LONDON, Monday. A daring robbery was committed at Leatlierhead, Surrey. Miss Betty Hulton, daughter of the late Sir Edward Hulton, newspaper magnate, left a window open at her home owing to the heat. Thieves entered the house by the window and stole £17,000 worth of jewellery.
