WRESTLING TONIGHT

“TERRIBLE TURK” V. LOGAN One of the hardest wrestling matches of the season is promised in the meeting of Kara Pasha and Walter Logan at the Town Hall this evening, under the auspices of the Auckland Ex-Ser-ylcemen’s Wrestling Union. On paper, the contest appears to be one of the most attractive arranged this season. Pasha has appeared once previously in Auckland, defeating Tom Alley, while in his contests in the South he has collected the long end of the purse on each occasion. Logan made many friends by his display against Alley a week ago, and although he was defeated, he was the better wrestler on the night, and at the time he was slammed to unconsciousness was one fall up. If he defeats the Turk, Logan will be right in the boom, as Pasha has been the sensation of this season. An excellent amateur programme has been arranged in support.
