CUSTOMS REVENUE LOWER AT AUCKLAND PETROL-TAX YIELDS MORE The Customs revenue collected at Auckland during August was £36,838 less than in the corresponding month of last year. On the other hand the petrol-tax revenue showed an increase of £11,637. The sum collected from Customs and tyre duties, and pet.rol-tax, amounted to £207.199 during the past month, compared with £293,238 from these three sources in August. 1929.
