BABY BORN ON YACHT

DARING NORWEGIANS ON LONG VOYAGE IN N.Z. FOR CHRISTMAS Two years ago a tiny yacht of seven and a-half tons sailed from Norway on a tour of tlie world. She is expected to reach New Zealand about Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Timms, who own this small yacht, which they call “Teddy,” are just loitering round the world. They have no set course, nor do they mind how long they stay at any one place. Six months after the yacht sailed from Norway, Mrs. Thunij gave birth to ci baby. The venturesome little party is at present at Papeete, Tahiti, l>reparing to sail for New Zealand via some of the islands of the Pacific. After crossing the Atlantic Ocean to America, Mr. Thams cruised down the coast, passed through the Panama Canal, and eventually reached Tahiti. Captain Thorval Salvesen, master of the Fenybryu, met Mr. Thams and his wife and child at Tahiti and brought the news of their wanderings to Auckland.
