WAIPAWA BY-ELECTION CANDIDATE MR. A. E. JULL INVITED Press Association NAPIER, Friday. A meeting of United Party supporters was held at Waipukurau this evening. The Acting-Prime Minister, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, and Mr. J. A. Phand, general secretary of the party, were present, and the meeting unanimously requested Mr. A. E. Juil to contest the Waipawa by-election in the party interests. Mr. Jull asked for a few days in which to decide.
