OPENING DANCE IN NEW PARISH HALL
PLEASANT EVENING An enjoyable and successful opening dance was held in the new Parish Hall, at Grey Lynn, recently. The hall was gaily decorated with streamers. Delightful music was supplied by Aliss Jagger-Smith’s Royal Syncopaters. Among the dancers were: Aliss K. Robinson, in blush flgured crepe de chine; Aliss M. Buffet, shell pink georgette; Aliss Glover, blue crepe de • hiqe and silver lace; Aliss X. Sullivan, blue frilled georgette; Miss X. Pratt, rose taffeta and silver; Aliss P. Kennedy, ivory tulle; Aliss PL Kennedy, lettuce green and silk net; Miss Sylvia Jones, nile green satin; Aliss D. I-lellawell, pink lace over satin; Mrs. M. Harris, beige lace and georgette; Airs. Fleming (Sidney), eau de nil georgette. Airs. E. Brierly, who wore panne velvet and bridge coat; Aliss I. Brierly, mauve satin; Mrs. C. Corbet, embossed georgette; Aliss C. Preston, navy crepe de chine uneven hem; Aliss E. Duncan, love-Jn-the-mist georgette and diamente; Aliss A. Nolan, delphinium blue panne velvet; Aliss Vaile, magenta embossed lame; Aliss R. Rodgers, coral pink georgette: Miss R. Fleming, blush pink satin; Aliss Staton, sunset shot taffeta; Aliss X. Toye, black embossed georgette; Aliss B. Hannan, green taffeta; Aliss I. Gilbert, almond green georgette; Aliss P. Rubick, lemon satin; Miss Hamilton, shot pink taffeta; Miss Gamble, peach embossed georgette; Aliss Al. O’Brien, briar rose taffeta: Aliss B. Brierly, mauve and silver; Miss I. Kelly, black and gold tulle over satin; Mrs. .T. A. Hellawell, cream georgette and lace; Miss Y. Sharp, powder blue crepe de chine.
