MAORI CAUGHT IN HOUSE

BURGLARY ADMITTED Press Association GISBORNE, Today. Caught in the act of going through a country house on August 22, a Maori. Puka Stevens, aged 37. pleaded guilty in the Police Court this morning to a charge of breaking, entering and theft. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. On four charges of theft accused was sentenced to three months’ hard labour.
