ANNUAL MEETING HELD That satisfactory progress was made by the Deyonport Yacht Club last season was announced in the report presented at the annual meeting of the club held last evening, Mr. G. Trevithick presiding. According to the report, two racing fixtures, in addition to the opening and closing events, were held, but the season, however, was not good from a racing point of view owing to the contrary winds and calms. The number of boats hauled out on the club site constituted a record and through the able supervision of Mr. W. Shaw no difficulty was Experienced in handling any of the boats. The statement of accounts showed a credit balance of £SO on the year’s w r orking and the assets exceeded the liabilities by £540. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron. Earl Jellicoe: vicepatrons, the Hon. E. W. Alison and Mr. E. Aldridge; president, Mr. G. Trevithick; commodore, Mr. R. H. Hume; vice-commodore, Mr. A. Pxosser; rearcommodore, Mr. S. Shepherd; secretary, Mr, W. Fletcher; assistant secretary, Mr. A. W. Tamlin; treasurer, Mr. V. P. Stuart; club captain, Mr. W. C. Coldicutt; auditor, Mr. R. A. Spinley; hon. solicitor, Mr. B. Gold water; delegates to Auckland Yacht and Motor-Boat Association, Messrs. R. H. Hume and G. Mackenzie; starter and timekeeper, Mr. E. Spraggon; judge, Mr. G. Miller; general committee, Messrs. A. G. Ensol, G. Mackenzie, W. J. Potter, J. D. Logan, E. Spraggon, E. Mann, A. Carnahan, G. McLeod, A. Woodham, R. Morrison, L. M. Wood; and W. Oliver; handicapper, keel yachts, Messrs. A. G. Ensol and R. Mays; centreboard boats, Messrs. J. D. Logan, L. M. Wood and W. J. Potter.
