FIRE BRIGADE AT MOUNT EDEN HOLDS GAY DANCE
PROGRAMME OF DANCING AND MUSIC On Saturday evening - (lie officers and members of the Mount Eden Fire Brigade held a very enjoyable social and dance in the social hall of the lire station, Valley Road. The programme was contributed by Misses N. AVood, I. Long and Messrs. T. Long and Burton. Among those present were: Mrs. Jas. Maskel!, who wore an anklelength frock of daffodil yellow georgette and satin; Mrs. .1, F. AVilliams. black crepe de thine; Mrs. Nelson, sunset taffeta; Mrs. R. Henderson, ankle-length bine klnce Crock; Mrs. C. F. Linton, nile green georgette; Mrs. C. Johnston, pale blue georgette with bridge coat to match; Mrs. A. C. Barton, ankle-length frock of rose gold taffeta; Mrs. <l. O. Massey, blue taffeta anti silver lace; Mrs. Degenkobbe, lirowii crepe de chine; Mrs. Hansen, black mousseline and net overdress.
Miss R. Williams, in rose pink taffeta; Miss G. Lord, oyster grey crepe de chine; Miss Nellie Woods, saxe blue eheille; Miss .\r. J. Btjt.hune, apricof satin beanie; Miss Gladys Bethune, pink oelanese taffeta and gold brocade; Miss Monk, flame crepe de chine; Miss J. Nelson, pale pink satin and lace; Miss J. Chappell, black velvet and georgette, with relief of rose and green leaves; Miss Olga Degenkolbe, fawn crepe de chine; Miss Grace Mills, fawn lace and pink silk; Miss Ray Moore, absinthe green crepe de soie; Miss Noclla Hinchcliffe, cream satin bcaute.
