DEVONPORT PARTY
A most enjoyable party was held on Saturday evening at the residence ot Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Smith. Vauxhall Road, Davenport. Tha dining-room. in which the guests wero entertained with games and dancing, was decorated with gaily coloured streamers and balloons Mrs. Smith received her guests wearing a frock of scarlet georgette, with beaded overdress. Among those present were: Miss Esmond, who wore midnight blue georgette: Miss W< Clarke, salmon pink georgette; Miss J. Milter, ankle-length frock of violet satin; Miss V. Walsh, blue satin and taffeta; Miss .T. Xicholsen. lemon georgette; Miss T. Smith, lemon satin, with lace overdress; Miss F. Black. Palo blue satin; Miss I!. Mactndoe. wile pink georgette, relieved with silver: Miss A. Smith, frock of black georgette: Miss G. Jay, midnight blue crepe de chine; Mrs. H. Smith, red crepe de chine: Mrs. ,r. Curren, pink satin; Miss A. Clubb, lemon georgette.
