CRAIG—GRAINGER

A dainty bridal gown of parchment satin was worn by Ida Mary, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Granger, of Epsom, for her marriage to Frederick Albert, son of Mcs. and the late Mr. Robert Craici, of Devonport, at St. Matthew's Church last evening.

The ceremony was performed by Canon Grant Cowen, and Mr. Fhilpot presided at the organ. Given away by her father, the bride wore her gown, which was beautifully

embroidered with tiny pearls and rhinestones, fashioned with a close-fit-ting corsage and a long circular skirt which fell in graceful folds to a scalloped hemline embroidered with rows of pearls and rhinestones. Her veil of hand-embroidered french net, which was arranged on the hood with a coronet’ of pearls and rliineston.es, formed a long train, and she carried a sheaf of lilies.

Two bridesmaids attended the bride. Miss Lila Foley, cousin of the bride, and Miss Florence Ross, wearing frocks of willow green and daffodil corded taffet and net respectively, fashioned alike witli a slim-fitting corsage and a longflared skirt with a deep hem of lulle embroidered with floral motifs. They wore felt turban hats trimmed with swathi ngs of tulle and caught in the front with a diamente buckle. Their bouquets were of Iceland poppies. Little Naneye Paterson, cousin of the bride, was flower-girl, wearing a daintv J rock of mauve trilled georgette and a headdress of tiny leaves. She currl<k<? a of blue and pink flowers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. G. Fletcher-Jones, and Air. H. Pooley was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Cook's Tea Rooms, Queen Street, where Mrs, Grainger received her guests wearing a gown of doveKfe.v georgette with inlets of grey lace. She wore a grey felt hat relieved with powder blue, and carried a bouquet of irises.

Mrs. Craig was gowned in black, brocaded silk, with a hat to match. She carried a posy of violets and primroses. Among the guests present were: Mr. and Airs. J. S. Scliischka. Mr. and Mrs. F. P.
