TWO MEN SLIGHTLY INJURED
A police constable was injured in a collision between the motor-cycle he was riding and a taxicab in Symonds Street yesterday afternoon. The injured man, Constable John Alfred Allen, of the City station, received a fractured ankle. lie was taken to the Auckland Hospital. A footballer, Mr. Thomas Leslie Boyle, aged 22, of 4 Bedford Street, Parnell, received concussion while playing in a League match at Carlaw Park yesterday afternoon, as a result of violently colliding with another player; and being thrown o the ground. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, but his condition is not serious.
