MORE MEMBERS WANTED

CREDITMEN BEGIN DRIVE The objects of the Auckland Creditmen’s Club are set out in a review of the year’s activities, which is'being distributed among City firms with the object of increasing membership. To enable this to be achieved more easily an alteration has been made in the rules, and special terms are now offered for more than one member of the firm to join the club.

The executive committee’s report states that the past year has shown plainly the need which is being filled by the club’s fortnightly luncheon talks. Of the 130 members, an average of 80 have attended every meeting. Addresses have been given by many outstanding speakers and reprinted for distribution where this was thought desirable. The club also forms an excellent starting place for the promotion of desirable legislation affecting the credit department of business.
