GOING TO WANGANUI

JOINING UP WITH FERNDEN ACRE GELDING’S * PREPARATION The unnamed Acre gelding under M Conway’s direction at Ellerslie is to be sent to Wanganui over the week-end. On arrival there he will go into M.. Gardner’s stable for a preparation for spring racing. The gelding is held in the interests of Mr. W. Jury (the owner of Fernden), who purchased him some time ago, but left him here to be handled. The son of Acre has shown signs of galloping ability, and when he becomes thoroughly conversant with the game, he should pay his way.
