NEW POLICE CHIEF
APPOINTMENT IN VICTORIA APPLICANTS FROM N.Z. MELBOURNE, Tuesday. Brigadier-General T. A. Blarney has been reappoi-.ted Chief Commissioner of I’olice in Victoria from among 23 applicants in Australia and New Zealand. The appointment is for three years at a reduced salary of £1,250 a year.
