The New Lynn Borough Council met on Monday evening. the deputy-Mayor, Mr. G. Lawson. presiding. Charges ‘for water are fixed as follow:—Ordin—‘ary supply. 4d in the £2. with a mini‘mum rate of 105: non-consumers' rate. ‘ld in the L“. All the rates are levied lon the unimproved value. Approval was received from the 'Local Government Loans Board 9! imodified plans for the reconstruction lof Totara Avenue and Todd‘s Avenue.
