FANCY DRESS SOCIAL
FUNDS FOR BIBLE CLASS The fancy dress social held by the Papakura Presbyterian Church Bible Class was most successful. Visitors were present from Pukckohe, Drury and surrounding districts. The judges, Mrs. Garlick and Miss A. Thornton, awarded the first prize for the women to Miss Jl. Knight for her Hawaiian costume, and the first prize for men to Mr. J. Colquhoun, Chinese. Miss M. Clarkson (Pukekolie) was specially commended for hexfancy dress representing “Night.” Among those present were:—Miss T). Stewart, as Queen of Sheba: Miss H. Stevenson.
