BIG FIRE-FIGHTING COST IN DROUGHT STATES MAW FORESTS ABLAZE WASHINGTON, Saturday. The effort to control forest fires due to the recent drought and other factors is costing the Government £3,800 a day. Fires are still raging in many sections.
