REBELS IN PERU
AIR AND NAVAL FORCE SENT TO SUPPRESS REVOLT GOVERNMENT THREATENED NEW YORK, Sunday. A despatch from Lima, Peru, says a serious military revolt in Southern Peru threatens the administration of -the President, Senor Augusto B. Leguia. The garrison at Arequipa, the third city of the Republic, was at the helm of the movement. The Government is said to he sending a naval force and aircraft against the rebels.
